Brief.
In a whirlwind response to the vibrant food court scene at Westfield Newmarket, Kokodak decided to spice things up by diving headfirst into the fray. Their mission? To plant their flag firmly opposite the sushi train, crafting a sizzling new food kiosk that would have tongues wagging and taste buds tingling.
The client's vision was to create a fresh and vibrant space that would captivate passersby, with a focus on fast self-service ordering, a spacious kitchen designed for optimal workflow, and secluded seating areas for a quiet respite from the bustling mall atmosphere.
Our
Solution.
In collaboration with the client's team and overseen by JPPM project management, we set out to bring the vision to life. Drawing inspiration from bold identity elements, we infused the space with vibrant hues, playful details, and unique features. The incorporation of iconic motifs and whimsical design elements added charm to the dining area's ambiance. To introduce a fresh element, we introduced contrasting accents that enlivened the space.
Key design elements included custom-made lights and an incredible overhead ceiling feature, which added visual interest and enhanced the dining area's energetic atmosphere. The layout was meticulously planned to optimize flow, with strategically placed serving stations for efficient ordering and a spacious kitchen seamlessly connected to the counter front of house. Quiet seating areas provided a serene retreat within the bustling mall, catering to patrons seeking a moment of relaxation amidst the excitement.
As the curtains closed on the Kokodak project at Westfield Newmarket, it wasn't just a mere transformation—it was a culinary revolution! What used to be a forgotten nook in the mall is now a buzzing hotspot, pulsating with personality and pizzazz. With its bold design choices, quirky details, and a seamless blend of brand identity, Kokodak has become the talk of the town.
