Off the back of Kokodak’s sizzling Newmarket success, the client set their sights on expanding into Westfield Albany. The brief? Create a bold, elevated sibling to the flagship—one that would bring Kokodak’s signature cheeky charm into a high-traffic food court environment with a more refined edge.

Kokodak Albany is a playful and polished new chapter in the brand’s Korean fried chicken story. HelloSpace reimagined a compact kiosk into an edgy, design-forward dining destination, balancing operational efficiency with atmosphere in a fast-paced mall setting.
Bespoke pendant lighting — sculptural and softly glowing — anchors the space above a bright red curved banquette, creating an inviting moment to pause and dine. The material palette draws from Kokodak’s core DNA, blending sleek finishes with warm, organic textures that energise the venue without overwhelming it.
Thoughtful spatial planning ensures seamless kitchen flow, while the front-of-house radiates personality and warmth. The result? A spirited, elevated take on fast-casual dining — proof that great design makes an impact, no matter the scale.
