In the heart of Manukau's bustling fast food court, Kokodak embarked on a transformative project aimed at redefining the dining experience within its tiny space.

Drawing inspiration from Korean art and history, the design team sought to infuse an authentic touch into the Kokodak brand's interior fitout.
Embracing the brand's quirky charm, they envisioned a space that seamlessly integrated playful elements with functional efficiency. The design prioritized optimizing the ordering process to create a clear and organized system that aligned with Kokodak's brand experience. Utilizing the limited space effectively, the team curated a visually engaging environment that enhanced the overall customer experience.
Key design features included bold colour schemes, dynamic lighting installations, and innovative seating configurations that maximised space utilisation. The incorporation of Korean-inspired motifs and artwork added depth and character to the space, reflecting Kokodak's commitment to authenticity and creativity. Collaborating closely with the Kokodak team and mall management, the design concept was refined to ensure alignment with brand objectives and operational requirements.
The client's brief emphasized the need to maintain brand consistency while infusing the space with a fun, quirky, and cheeky ambiance unique to the Manukau location. Leveraging key elements from existing Kokodak stores, such as the quirky chick and chicken LED non-feet, black mesh, timber cladding, and dark counters, the design team was tasked with creating a cohesive and playful environment that would resonate with patrons.
